The shelves at our Thrift Shore are always filled will great merchandise; from clothing to shoes to fine furnishings for your home. Great artwork, knick-knacks, bedding, antiques, jewelry, craft, office and pet supplies, crystal, china, tools, sports equipment, formal dresses to wedding gowns, collectibles, toys and much more! With the generous donations from our amazing community, new items are placed on the sales floor all day long!

Did you know that the 100% of the Thrift Store revenue supports the Omak Senior Center members, building and activities which, in turn, goes back to helping the local community? Organizations and programs such as High School Scholarships, Man-Fisher Ministries, Omak Food Bank, "The PAC", Senior Nutrition Lunch Program through Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition and other local vital programs. Shop with us knowing you are making a difference to the greater Okanogan County community.

The Omak Senior Center Thrift Store is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 membership organization. Donation receipts are available upon request.
The Omak Senior Center Thrift Store is operated by the generosity of the community. From timeless treasures you don't have space for to gently used items, we'd like our thrift store to be a place where you would enjoy finding little treasures. Please donate with that in mind.

Donations NOT Accepted:

  • Broken, chipped, cracked, stained or clearly unusable items
  • Car seats, cribs, high chairs, and strollers (due to safety recalls)
  • Damaged or stained furniture
  • Encyclopedias, medical and text books or musty/damaged books
  • Large Appliances
  • Obsolete electronics: computers, printers and tube televisions
  • Stained, torn or very worn clothing

Volunteering
We are always in need of volunteers to help sort and sell donated items. New volunteers can choose their preferred position. A commitment of four hours per week is requested.

Something wonderful happens when you become a member of the volunteer team. Our volunteers have more fun!! They tend to be more healthy and consistently report being happier after becoming part of our volunteer family. Young, old, working, retired... it doesn't matter. Volunteering is good for everyone; it's a great way to support our local communities. The Omak Senior Center Thrift Store is always seeking individuals who wish to donate their time sorting, pricing, stocking, and selling donated merchandise. Over 50+ volunteers donate more than 1,000 hours of their time each month to keep the store operating. We are always looking for volunteers to help in a host of ways, from assisting customers to safeguarding donations left after hours and everything in between. There are dozens of opportunities at the the store! One is sure to suit you. Our volunteers are what make the Omak Senior Center Thrift Store the happening place to be!
